Jobalot Launches Job
Snippets Program Nationwide
Cross-over program with The Employment Guide provides job seekers
Internet job content through
print publications
NORFOLK, Va., May 16, 2007 - Jobalot, (www.Jobalot.com), the innovative aggregator
of targeted and niche job boards and a division of Dominion Enterprises,
announces the nationwide launch of its Job Snippets program. Job Snippets offers
job seekers Internet job content through The
Employment Guide's nationwide print publications.
"This partnership between Jobalot
and The Employment Guide will provide
Jobalot's affiliate partners with a tremendous distribution channel by
utilizing the backbone of our 68 local market print publications. With the
inclusion of Jobalot's job content in all of our local publications, The Employment Guide clearly becomes the
leading source of local job content among weekly recruitment publications,"
said Jack Webber, regional manager of The
Employment Guide.
Jobalot advertises local opportunities labeled by job title and a unique
job identification number which, through the Job Snippets program, is also printed
in local issues of The Employment Guide.
The reader can then log on to EmploymentGuide.com and enter the job
identification number in the Job Snippets icon found in the upper right corner
of the featured city page. This is the first time such a cross-over program has
run between two recruitment solutions.
"There is intelligent life in
print," said blogger Joel Cheesman of Cheezhead.com (www.Cheezhead.com).
"Job Snippets shows that you [JB1]< can
connect offline to online in a way that really works and, hello, opens new
revenue streams."
The Job Snippets program was introduced in The Employment Guide's Dallas market print publication, and has
been in beta-testing since September. It was then rolled out in Reno, Nevada,
and Greensboro, North Carolina, in January and is now ready for nationwide
distribution.
